Project Approach Extended in-depth learning 19 April 2018 4.oo-5.30 St Werburgh’s Park nursery school, Bristol We are delighted to have Sylvia Chard talk at St Werburgh’s. The project approach revolves around an extended and in-depth investigation of an area of interest. Children have a strong disposition to explore and discover. The Project Approach builds on natural curiosity, enabling children to interact, question, connect, problem-solve, communicate, reflect, and more. It essentially makes learning the stuff of real life and children active participants in and shapers of their worlds.
Dr. Sylvia Chard is Professor Emeritus of Early Childhood Education at the University of Alberta, Canada, She is a prolific author and has presented all over the world. |
